The garden was used as an example of how a well considered, creative garden design can connect inside and outside living by seamlessly integrating the garden with the architectural and interior design.

Colm Joseph was featured in a special edition of Gardens Illustrated magazine on designing small gardens as one of Gardens Illustrated's recommended designers for small gardens.
While we design gardens of all sizes, small gardens always offer great opportunities to create striking designs that make the most of the space available.
The design studio is keeping busy, despite the current coronavirus lockdown. Among other new projects underway is this small garden design for a courtyard in central Cambridge. Surrounded by award-winning modern architecture, this design creates a naturalistic and contemporary outdoor living space for family and friends to spend time together.
As with architecture, sculpture, or interior design, landscape design involves imagining and shaping three dimensional spaces. However, one of the unique joys and challenges of gardens is designing with a fourth dimension of time in mind. Our garden design approach always carefully considers how the garden will develop over the years to come as well as how the garden will change with the seasons. Our Bury St Edmunds garden shown above was completed in July 2020 and will only improve with time.
